look for fish in close vicinity to fall locations. What i’m looking for are types of structure in which a bass can have access to food, a heat source, and cover. For example, i come upon a long tapering point from a cove that i had caught some fish in recently when the water temperature was a little higher. Having a stacked deck with, as many pre-rigged dobyns rods i can in preparation is helpful in cold weather. You want to spend your time searching and fishing for bass not rigging up. i will pick up a spinnerbait. because it is a lure i can easily manipulate the retrieve speed and action.
