SMALL RESERVOIRS/ PRIVATE LAKES

Another great resource is the many small private lakes and reservoirs. Many of these are only accessible by permit, residency, etc., but can be a lot of fun to fish. Also, a variety of these have boat limitations (electric motors only, etc.).

Honestly – some of the biggest fish I’ve caught in my lifetime have been from some of these locations. Especially if they are local – it’s easy to throw your kayak in the truck, fish for an hour or two in the evening and have a great time.
