another neat little trick is to employ your cursor before saving a screenshot. When you see something of interest, touch any arrow key and your cursor will appear on your screen. Use the arrow keys to place it over the point of interest, then push the Power key to take your screen shot. (See image 4.)
look at the Sonar view in the lower right window and you’ll see the cursor (crosshairs) marking a structure rising up off the bottom. Now look above to the down Scan view in the upper right window and note the cursor position on that structure. Here with the superior detail of StructureScan we can plainly see this is a tree lying on the bottom. We can relate its position to the left & right Scan view in the upper left window, and to the boat’s position in the Chart window of the lower left. Note the cursor is directly behind the boat. This is terrific information, but the additional bonus with placing the cursor is now we have the longitude/latitude of the cursor position displayed in the Chart

screen, and the depth of the cursor position (14.9 ft) displayed in the Sonar screen. By placing the cursor first, then taking the screenshot, we have captured all this information on one screen for later review. That’s putting today’s technology to maximum benefit. i don’t know about you, but i’m headed for the boat launch.
