THE ARTIST
Jeff Weese is a landscape and wild life artist who grew up in Ontario, Canada. He began painting with watercolor, acrylics and oils at a very young age. He went on to study Fine Arts and Graphic Design at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario and achieved a measure of success painting scenes of his beloved Canada. Moving to South Carolina in 2000 he was hired as a Graphic Designer by Shakespeare ® Fishing Tackle Company currenty Pure Fishing Inc. He is a resident of West Columbia where he paints scenes depicting the beauty of the lowcountry and beaches of South Carolina. Known for his attention to detail and realistic depiction of the natural world he has become the premier artist painting various fish species for the Penn ® Catalog Cover Art. (See above).
