shaped wooden prop bait, but has a soft body and double hooks like a frog. It will excel in shallow vegetation and places where you can’t throw a bait with treble hooks. It’s a 4.5-inch bait that weighs 3/8-ounce, and the prop and feathered trailer will draw fish to the surface to attack.

MEET SYNCH FISHING

Among the things American Baitworks has in its family of brands, hard lures were not one of them, and it had no presence in the swimbait world. That’s changed with Synch, which will be available starting in the fall of 2025. The lineup is through a partnership with renowned artist Andrew Gardner, an award-

winning decoy and lure carver. The lures they developed look like art pieces, with phenomenal paint schemes and great actions.

The lineup includes two baits, a traditional glide bait shape and a bluegill profile. The designs are based on his wood carvings, and the colors are unique, matching various forage species.

MORE BAITFUEL OPTIONS

BaitFuel took the bass fishing world by storm when it was released, and now there are more options. There is a product called Fuse Gel, which is a sticky substance that will stick or “fuse” to all baits, including hard baits.

It comes in a 1.75-ounce tube, almost like

a sunscreen or toothpaste container, and will be very easy to apply to lures of all kinds. It features the same scientifically proven formula that stimulates fish to bite.

The American Baitworks family of brands grew with the addition of Synch Fishing, and many of their existing brands added several new products designed just for bass anglers. They’ve been busy with product development and will continue to create products that fit the needs of today’s bass anglers. •
