SUNGLASSES
page 22
O
ver the past few years, Bajío has emerged
as a premium sunglass brand, and anglers
everywhere are noticing. They continue to add new styles and unique lens colors. Their sunglasses
are suddenly everywhere in retail stores and on the
faces of anglers, whether they are bass fishermen, fly
anglers, or prefer saltwater fishing.
The name Bajío is made for fishing and means “flats” in Spanish, and they are rooted in the fishing world. They are also a fun brand, which was evident at ICAST in Orlando as they had a bus with their name on it in their booth, while visitors were able to get a haircut or tattoo right on the show floor.
They have something for everyone, and besides
just sunglasses, they are adding some great-looking hats and accessories. Here’s a recap of all that is new with Bajío.
MORE OPTIONS FOR FISHING SUNGLASSES
Bajío sunglasses come in many different styles and shapes to fit each head, and they added several new frame styles and more colors for some of their
most popular fishing
sunglasses.
One new frame
is Greenland, which
won an award at
ICAST for best new
eyewear. They are a
full-wrap design that
is made to fit tightly,
almost like goggles,
for better face
coverage. They come
in seven lens tints,
three frame color
options, and have
rubber vented nose
pads and side shields
for comfort. Another
new frame is Zapata,
an XL fit with a fully
wrapped design and side shields to block the sun. It also comes in seven lens colors and three frame colors.
For the XL fit Las Rocas and Large fit Toads, there is a new blue grass matte frame; for the medium fit Palometa, there is a new green rock gloss frame color. The medium Sigs also include new colors: light blue water matte and dark gray glass matte.
