Retracting the motor requires minimal effort. At only 65-pounds total weight (including the mount and foot pedal) it is lighter than most, and the strong two-way assist strut helps on the retrieve and on deployment. While retrieving the motor, the Ghost automatically swings the motor to the proper storage position, eliminating the need for the user to do so before retraction.

Innovative design features abound, such as a built-in notch on the bracket that the steel cable uses to help lift the motor, regardless of angle. The foot-pedal cables are neatly clipped to the side of the strong mount; so, they don’t get in the way of bow controls or block your Lowrance screen.

Speaking of the foot-pedal, Ghost gives you your choice of placing the power button on either the right or left side of the pedal. This is slicker than the nanocoated finish on a Gamakatsu G-Finesse hook.

The prop slices through weed beds, and if you ever tangle your fishing line in the prop and need to remove the

prop while on the water, the prop pin will not fall out and leave you without a working motor.

The foot-pedal also contains a built-in battery strength indicator, despite the brushless motor having a 60% longer battery life, and 120-pound thrust rating. There are dedicated buttons for both Anchor Lock and Heading lock, and user- programmable buttons that can deploy or retract Power Poles, and even save waypoints or take screenshots with a tap of your foot.

And yes, the Ghost is quiet, both above and below the water, which the Ghost does not fear with its Ipx7 waterproof rating and a 3-year warranty.

And no, Ghost is not built for Lowrance by another competitor. It is built in-house by Lowrance, and completely designed by their fishing professionals from the ground up.
