a good man won
I
can’t take credit for the title of this column, I
have to give B.A.S.S. photographer extraor-
dinaire James Overstreet credit for that one.
But, I have to admit in stealing his Facebook post as a title for my piece is that J.O. was exactly
right. Randy Howell is a good man, he has a won-
derful family and I’m happy for them in winning the
Classic.
To be clear, there have been a lot of good men that
have won the Classic. I went to and worked my first
50
Classic in 2008 and was there when Alton Jones won; a good man who worked hard for the sport.
I was there on the floor taking images as my friend Skeet Reese won in 2009, and I got to experience firsthand in working with Skeet, Kim and the girls how much impact being a Classic champion can have on your life, and how much impact a winner can have on others.
