f you’ve been contemplating for a while on pulling
the trigger on a new boat but have been hung
up on which or what kind you should purchase
hopefully this month’s article can help make the decision become a little bit clearer. To help me, I went
to go see my long time friends and sponsors Rick
Grover and Joe Uribe Jr. of Anglers Marine in Anaheim,
California to get the inside scoop on what’s new and
exciting in the marine industry for 2011!
For years, amongst my friends and peers, I’ve
always been the one they’d call when it came to boat
questions, due to my years of working in the boat
industry. Even today as I write this I’ve had 2 phone
calls regarding future boat purchases by friends!
We all know right now the economy isn’t exactly
booming, but boys will be boys and they are going to have their toys. Before buying that toy, let’s go over a checklist to make sure we have all the bases covered first.
First and most important is definitely figuring out a budget and deciding if this is going to be a cash purchase or a financed purchase. If you are fortunate enough to be able to purchase in cash you’re going to have to wait a little longer in the article till we get to the technical stuff about making your purchase as we have to cover the financing portion right now for those who can’t write a check for that new boat.
