fter fishing his way to the final field,
top-12 cuts in four of the last six
Elite Series stops in 2011 and
climbing all the way to the top-5 at West Point, Wheeler and
the Arkansas River, Bassmaster
Elite Series pro Ish Monroe closed
out the season with a championship
at the Northern Open at Oneida Lake
in Syracuse, N.Y.
During his off time, he was home
fishing the Delta, trying out prototype
baits and rigging his Ranger at C&C
Marine. With video in hand, we caught
a lot of the action during his prep time
for the season and now with the
Bassmaster Classic only weeks
away, the Delta local
from Hughson,
Calif.
weighed in on the Elite circuit ahead of him and some
of the new gear that he will have onboard.
While most of us aren’t running four HDS
units or don’t have the most recent
release of anything, it is always cool
to see what the guys at the top do to
keep on top.
I heard there is a new frog on the Snag Proof horizon, can you talk about that?
There is and it is like nothing out there. It is my Poppin’ Phatty frog. It is a popper version of a
