NEW RODS
PROCYON
The new Procyon rod lineup includes 34 rods for everything from bass to trout to stripers, walleye, and panfish. The series also contains two travel rods. They feature lightweight blanks, titanium oxide guides, and cork handles.

LINE AND LURES
SAMURAI
The Daiwa Samurai braided line has been a popular line for Daiwa and they are now adding a fluorocarbon under the same name. Available in sizes from 2- to 25-pound line, J-Fluoro Samurai is a premium Japanese 100% fluorocarbon. It comes in both 220-yard filler spools and 1000-yard bulk spools.
GIZMO
From Ever Green is the new Gizmo, a unique insect imitating topwater. It comes in eight colors.
“GIZMO SPECIAL”
There is also a new rod designed for this light lure, the “Gizmo Special” in the Evergreen Combat Stick lineup. They have added a rod model designed specifically for fishing the Evergreen Shower Blows topwater lures.
PICCOLO
Also, from Ever Green is a new small crankbait called the Piccolo. It is a silent, fixed-weight bait designed for both bass and panfish.
SALTWATER LURES
On the saltwater side of things, Daiwa also released several new lures, including the Zakana Casting Jig, Mr. Slow, FK Jigs. They also added a host of new rods and reels built for the saltwater angler.
