So when picking out your worms and tubes it never hurts to break away from the mold and call on the guys to pour you up a special color that no one else will have. That slight difference in color or movement of a handpour worm can sometimes be your ticket to making that check in a tournament. if you haven’t thrown a westy worm in a while give’ em a shot. Shasta, roosevelt, Mead, Havasu will produce some quality keepers in no time!!

For injection worms roboworm is by far the best. My favorite colors are oxblood, MMiii, Folkestad Special, Peoples Worm and Blue Crawler. When looking for tubes canyon plastics is also my favorite. ask a lot of guys out there and you will probably need three colors in your tube box but make sure you stock pile them because once those smallies start eating the tube you are going to go through a handful of them. 00B, Klicka Special, and White. 00B works just about everywhere, Klicka Special tubes are awesome on the delta and Havasu and white is the obvious for bed fishing. You can rig your tubes in a varitey of ways but when i’m flippin the the brush it’s a bobber stopper 1/4 to 3/8 oz weight with a 3/0 wide gap hook and tex pose the bait.
