Originally from Texas, Ricky Clunn currently competes as a Bassmaster Elite Series pro. Now resid- ing in Ava, Miss, Clunn is a four-time Bassmaster Classic champion and considered one of the best anglers of all-time, earning OVER 120 top-10 finishes and 15 victories in B.A.S.S. events.

Clunn has qualified for the Classic 32 times - a record for the most appearances of an angler. Over the years, Clunn has earned several other noteworthy B.A.S.S. records With his four Classic victo- ries, Clunn is tied for the record of most Classic wins with Kevin VanDam. He has the honor of Bassmaster Classic victor by the largest margin with his 1984 Classic win at the Arkansas River. Crushing the competition, Clunn ended the event with a tournament total of 75-pounds, 9 ounces, a lead of more than 25-pounds over the runner-up. The tournament weight also gave him the record for the heaviest Classic-winning weight. This past March, Clunn collected his most recent record. He became the oldest angler to win a B.A.S.S. tournament.

At 69, Clunn fished win way to another victory and $100,000 payout on the St. Johns River in Palatka, Fla. Showing he was still ready to fish like a champ, regardless of age, Clunn weighed in a five-fish limit for31-pounds, 7-ounces, rocketing up the leader board from 31st to 1st on Day 3. He maintained his top-spot on the final day and bested the field of 110 anglers by four pounds over the four-day competition.

The legendary angling veteran has amassed nearly $2.5 million in B.A.S.S. career winnings and was inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in 2001.

Clunn and his wife Melissa have four children - Sage, River, Brooke, Cortney.
