Shaw Grigsby from Gainesville, Fla., has been on the pro angling tournament scene since 1984. He has competed on both FLW and B.A.S.S. circuits. He currently fishes the Bassmas- ter Elite Series.
Grigsby celebrated his 20th anniversary as the well-known television host of One More
Cast with Shaw Grigsby - an action-packed fresh and salt water fishing adventure where the legendary anglers shares pro tips and techniques for lakes, streams and coastlines around the country.
As can be witnessed on One More Cast, Grigsby loves fishing of all kinds and touts is favorite fisheries as Florida lakes for largemouth and the Great Lakes for smallmouth. His tournament PB is a 13-pound, 6-ounce giant, caught during a PAA event.
Over his B.A.S.S. career, Grigsby has earned 15 Classic qualifications, along with 59 top-10 finishes and eight victories, accumulating more than $2.1 million in B.A.S.S. career earnings. In his most recent win, Grigsby cashed over $100,000 at the Harris Chain of Lakes, in Tava- res, Fla., winning with nearly an 8-pound lead over his nearest competitor.
He and his wife Polly have two children, Amy and Shaw.
