WON BASS U.S. OPEN CHAMPION
Justin Kerr is the 2015 Won Bass Northern Open champion from Clear Lake and also last weekend just won the UBTT [ultimate bass team trail] Championship at Lake Ha- vasu and is now fishing in the BASS Toyota Team Championship at Lake Guntersville with a shot to go to the Classic.
Since embarking on his professional fishing career in 2003, Justin Kerr of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. has made an indelible mark on the bass fishing scene.
Kerr has fished his way to an impressive list of accomplishments that include 21 top- 10 professional finishes, four FLW Stren Series championships, three Bassmaster Open championships, an FLW Series East/West Shootout, four Western Classics championships and a Forrest Wood Cup qualification.
In his first season as a pro angler, he claimed the WON BASS Southern Division An- glers of the Year crown. In 2010, during his freshman year on the FLW Tour, Kerr claimed the Rookie of the Year title.
He is the only angler to have won both the U.S. Open (2008) on Lake Mead and the California Open (2015) on Clear Lake.
His repeated consistency has led him to three invitations to compete on the Bass-
master Tour or
Elite Series.
In the summer of 2007, Kerr was a part of a group of west- ern anglers who released the revolutionary video “The Big Bait Posse.” The video received national media coverage and its first production run sold out in weeks.
