Along with these random but very important pieces, Stefan keeps tools, various kinds of tape, screws, and zip ties in this bin, and it goes with him on every trip.

that longtime touring tournament angler Matt Stefan has in the back of his truck is a tire ramp. “It makes changing trailer tires very simple.”
SPARE PARTS AND REPAIR ESSENTIALS
Tools alone aren’t enough; having spare parts and repair items ready is equally important.
Along with carrying tools, you need to have the items needed to repair, replace, or fix a broken or missing item on your truck or boat. Matt Stefan has an easy system for this. “I carry a container with all the spare parts I collect. Don’t throw out any extra items when you are rigging your boat or installing something in your truck, put them in this bin. You never know when you will need some odd part and if you don’t have it, the trip could end sooner than wanted.”
When you leave the comfort and safety of your home, you need to be prepared and keep your gear safe and secure. Stefan will lock up everything that he can. “I use Durasafe Locks for everything, and the best part is, I only need one key to unlock everything,” said Matt. “They have locks that secure your electronics, trolling motor, spare tire,
ball hitch, trailer receiver, and swing-
away trailer tongue.”
The last thing you want is to walk out of your hotel room the morning of a tournament and find that your boat has been the victim of theft.
