the best way to fish the 85mm bait is with a slow and steady retrieve, and the larger size is best with a steady and methodical retrieve while mixing in pauses.
The 85mm is 3-3/8 inches long, weighs 7/8 ounces, and will retail for $12.99. The bigger size is 105mm, which is 4-1/8 inches long and it weighs in at one ounce. The retail cost for the bigger version is $14.99.
SUPER FLUORO LEADER
In addition to making great lures, Yo-Zuri makes a bunch of different lines and in all the popular types: braid, fluorocarbon, and blends like the fluorocarbon and monofilament Yo-Zuri Hybrid. The newest offering is the Super Fluoro, a value-priced fluorocarbon line.
They make a host of mainlines as well as some lines designed for leader material to combine with a braided mainline, like the new Super Fluoro Leader. For bass applications, it comes in eight sizes (6-, 8-,10-,12- ,15 -,20-, 25-, and 30-pound test) and the retail cost is between $7.99 and $14.99 for a 30-yard spool.

THE HYDRO MONSTER SHOT
This is a unique hard bait that is a versatile fish catcher. What makes it unique is that it can be fished throughout the water column, everywhere from on the surface as a topwater bait to very deep water. The bait is heavily weighted and will fall with a nice wobbling action, or you can fish it quickly up top, just like a baitfish running for its life, or let it fall to the depth zone where the fish are.
tested the line extensively and found it to be very strong in the harsh saltwater environment, so you know it will be durable enough for freshwater fishing. It’s made with premium raw materials and is a true 100-percent fluorocarbon line that is very abrasion resistant.
It comes in four sizes (80mm, 95mm, 110mm, and 125mm) and seven great colors: blue silver, black silver, bronze, green mackerel, sardine, white silver, and pink silver chartreuse.
The baits are heavy, so you can cast long distances to reach schoolers and will catch all sorts of saltwater species. The 80mm weighs an ounce, the 95mm is 1 3/8-ounce, the 110mm is 1 3/4-ounce and the 125mm weighs in at 2 1/8-ounce.
NEW COLOR IN THE 3DB LINEUP
The 3DB line of baits includes many really solid baits and some excellent colors that don’t fade because they use internal prism finishes. New for this year is a great baitfish imitator that’s called ghost pearl shad. It will be available in popular existing baits like the 3DB squarebill 1.5, 3DB MR 1.5 crank, 3DB Jerkbait 110 SP, and 3DB Jerkbait 110 SP Deep.
There was something for everyone at the Yo-Zuri booth at ICAST, including some new products that cover bass fishing, saltwater species, and a new fluorocarbon leader material. The latest products further cement the brand as one of the best multi-species companies out there and they’ve proven that their baits and gear can catch anything that swims.
