“It used to be just 2D sonar, but with StructureScan and DownScan it is so much easier,” Iaconelli began. “I still use 2D sonar, but run a split screen with DownScan or StructureScan to define the targets better. Ideally, you want to run both at the same time on the screen so you can compare what you are seeing.”
