The McNary Pool (also known as lake Wallula) is the 33 mile stretch of the Columbia river that is above McNary dam. This is a popular site for many bass and walleye tournaments due to excellent facilities including lodging, restaurants, and family activities. The general public knows the area as tri-Cities, named for the adjacent cities of Kennewick, Pasco, and richland. in contrast to the often wet western Washington, tri-Cities offers 300 sun-filled days providing year-round opportunity to enjoy the region.
