hen the water temperature starts to get cooler and the largemouth bite starts to slow down, there is almost always a solution to beat the winter blues; smallmouth and spotted bass. These species seem to have different habits when the water gets cool and are not as affected as their more temperamental cousins. i
take a simple approach during the colder months and limit my bait selection, fo- cusing only on the most likely areas in order to catch more of these species.
