didn’t need that. I had to learn all of that stuff right away when I started my pro career.”
KEYS TO SUCCESS
Now a professional angler, Daniels prides himself on being versatile. He believes that is the key to success both as a professional and as a bass angler at any level.
“In my opinion, the best thing to do to grow in bass fishing is to fish new places. You have to get out of your comfort zone if you expect to win tournaments or catch more bass in general,” Daniels said. Being versatile has helped him to forge a career as one of the top professionals in the game and that all came from trying to learn new things.
“If you are comfortable doing it all, that’s when the magic happens. You fish what is happening right then and fish what the fish want right now,” Daniels believes.
Now one of the most popular and respected professional anglers in the country, Daniels has achieved great heights in professional bass fishing. That was thanks to a lot of hard work, but also for being quick to realize that versatility is the key to long-term success in bass fishing. •
