This small unit can easily be mounted to boats of any size and also doubles as a very capable sonar fish finder. I was impressed with this unit’s capability and the cost makes it affordable for everyone.

MAPPING
As long as you are getting bottom contact as you drive your boat, the depth and location is being recorded and will make your map better. Slowly idling is a good way to make sure you get all of the
data needed for accurately
mapping, but I have been
driving on plane at 20 to 30
mph and have still recorded
excellent data.
I also keep my unit
recording while I am on my
trolling motor fishing. If I do
this over the course of a
day, I cover a long distance
of shoreline and my
map will get even better
without any extra work.
