If you’re not fishing around a weedline, you’re not fishing around fish. Knowing the weedline will maximize your efficiency. You can learn the weedline by casting (if you don’t initially make the perfect cast, you will get the weeds as you return; so this method may take multiple casts).
You can also figure out the weedline by lining up to it then using electronics to pinpoint the exact line. Another way would be to visually discern the line by
seeing the tops of the grass.
