WB: Will your family travel with you?

HAWK: My wife will come out to three or four events this year and I will have some other relatives that will pop up from time to time at some events.

WB: Is there a certain technique or experience that you have as a western angler that you feel will give you an advantage on the Series?

HAWK: Not really, because in a sense, a

WB: What’s on the lake schedule that you are looking forward to and not looking forward to?

HAWK: I’ve done quite a bit of research already on all of the places. I’ve been to about half of them and never been to the other half; but I am actually looking forward to all of them. Each one is so different and throughout the year, we’re going to be doing so many different things at the lakes. It is going to be a really diverse year and I am REALLY looking forward to fishing different place and learning things about new areas – the
