This goes along with being fully prepared and fully focused on the event before the Classic, to get that momentum going.
MOMENTUM & CONFIDENCE
I feel momentum and confidence is big in fishing. With my bad start last year, I took the downward momentum into the Classic and didn’t have a good Classic.
Before last year’s Classic, I had made the cut in every Classic (I had fished) to way back and fished on the final day, winning it in 2014. Yet, last year I didn’t do any good. I didn’t even make the final day to fish. I finished in the 30’s. I think a lot of it had to do with the bad start to the season, by not being prepared good enough for those first events held before the Classic.
