RS1 Inside Case
Maybe you are fishing a shoreline or deep ridge and want to keep your trolling motor moving while looking forward with your FFS. Press one button on the RS1 foot control and you can lock your FFS transducer to point wherever the trolling motor is steering. This is the Trolling Motor Mirror Mode. The RS1 locks your FFS transducers exactly parallel to your trolling motor body so it turns as if it were mounted to the trolling motor shaft. Experienced anglers use mirror mode to follow fish as they move, and to cast where the bass will see their lure.
What if you could aim and lock your FFS transducer onto a brush pile, rock pile, stump, shipwreck, dock, or any other object that is holding fish? Your screen would show this target no matter where your boat moves. You could

easily cast and watch your lure sink on the target while observing how the fish react. The Compass Lock feature of the RS1lets you do this. Now you can even orbit around the object with your boat position, which allows you to change the angle of your cast and lure direction. This will help you put more fish in the boat.
If you are like me, you already have hundreds of GPS waypoints marking all your favorite sweet spots. Imagine being able to touch the waypoint on your screen and now your FFS transducer is aimed and locked on that waypoint. Instantly your find your spot on your screen and can see if there are fish there. This is Waypoint Mode on the RS1. Now you can orbit the waypoint, change distance and angle how you want, automatically keeping your FFS transducer
