The Deps name has become famous here in America thanks to big baits like the Slide Swimmer. They are a very popular line of lures for big bass hunters and sell out quickly everywhere they are sold. Besides those, Deps makes a considerable line of hard baits, soft plastics, frogs, and more.
New for this year is the Tiny Bullshooter and the MT Wake.
The Bullshooter is an incredibly realistic bluegill imitator and the new Tiny Bullshooter is the same bait in a much smaller package. It is a 100mm bait and weighs one ounce.
The bait is a jointed design with features to make it appear like the real thing. The fins are made of a PVC material and stick to the body during the retrieve but hover when paused, just like a live bluegill.
It works with a straight retrieve but can roam, glide, and do a complete 180-degree turn to entice bites.
The MT Wake is a big topwater wakebait with a jointed body and oversized blade at the rear to give it a crazy action on the surface. It is a 95mm body and the bait comes in at 1.7-ounces.
This lure will wake on the surface, but the lip on the front allows it to dive just below the surface. The joint and blade give it a unique sound and vibration to draw fish from long distances.
Deps also added a few new colors to popular baits, including the Slide Swimmer 175 and 250. New for this year is the Butch Brown Hatchery Trout color.
