T
he weather during fall fishing may change from
year-to-year. Some years, November hits and you
can be fishing your favorite spot in shorts and a T. In other years, you may wear layers of clothes to stay warm
and if you’re far enough north, you could be breaking a thin
layer of ice to get your boat in the water. Regardless of the
fall conditions you are currently facing, there is one form of cover that holds bass this time of year and that is laydowns.
As the leaves begin to turn colors, the bodies of water we fish change as well.
The majority of the vegetation we had to fish all summer long, has died and the boat docks have either been pulled
