How has flippin’ advanced the tackle that is available right now as opposed to when you first started? it’s pretty much the same. The people that has helped flippin’ the most has been the hook companies that have made these real sharp hooks and there are two or three companies that make really good quality hooks now and the fishing lines. i think the braids have really enhanced the flippin’ technique on account of the direct set, no stretch and that kind of stuff in the lines; but i’m coming out with something new...
What hook do you like to use? i prefer Gamakatsu. The hook that i use a lot is that G-lock hook they make and their eWG for the
big plastics; but Gamakatsu -ever since i found those, i have never changed. That is really a good hook.
