ou ask yourself, “Is this the year I catch my personal best? I have got to be prepared when the opportunity is there and that bass is on my line, no mistakes.“

Before you know it, Christmas is here again and your rods are stored away. As the New Year arrives you have “Bass Fever”. You have been couped up doing “Honey-do’s” for the past few months. Weather has not been cooperating for bass fishing – torrential rains, wind blowing like you live in the “windy city” and you can hardly wait until spring arrives.

As the trees start to get new growth and flowers start to bloom as Mother Nature awakens, now is the time to prepare for your bass fishing season – preparing to do battle with spring bass!

You just finished winter fishing; light line, small fish. You know, five bass for 8.37 pounds, I mean - small fish! You hook a three pound fish and think you just won the Bass Master tournament!

6
