Makaira Live Bait Spinning and Jig Casting rods feature a unique integrated butt cap design. This cap features a gimbal design which is normally only offered in a machined aluminum cap. The innovative cap is made from a very durable hard rubber and allows the angler to use the rod with or without a gimbal rod belt, while still remaining comfortable in all fishing positions. It also keeps the rod stable in almost any style of rod holder.
