KEVIN BROCK averages 300 fishing days a year. Specializing in guided trips on top West Coast rivers, kevin is rated as one of the best salmon and steelhead guides by Salmon and Steelhead Journal , and is well known for his professionalism, expertise, and thousands of happy customers and successful fishing trips. Northern California waters include the Sacramento, Feather, Klamath and Smith rivers.
STEVE CARSON is one of the industry’s most knowledgeable anglers and instructors. He’ll present San Diego long-range trips, quite possibly the ultimate fishing excursion. Learn tackle, tips and information about trips from 3 to 14 days, and about catching yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, yellowtail, dorado and wahoo.
2003 he moved his family to the banks of the Trinity River, where they live today. Steve has expanded his business to include the Trinity, Klamath, Rogue, Chetco, Smith, Elk and Sixes, Umpqua and Coos Bay rivers. He’s added to his range, working out of Crescent City, Brookings and Gold Beach, offering ultra-light tackle for Rock cod, Lingcod, Salmon, Halibut, Albacore and crabbing.
JAY LOPES , a full-time guide who owns Right Hook Sportfishing, captains a 26-foot Parker, chasing white sturgeon, king salmon, albacore tuna and multiple species of sharks off the central coast. Capt. Jay will employ the knowledge he has gained over the last 11 years helping people put as many fish on the end of their lines as possible.
MIKE GRAVERT owns Intimidator Sportfishing. He’ll teach you two of his favorite techniques and all of his trade secrets for chasing the Delta’s premier game fish: striped bass. Learn when to target them, tides, locations, and the equipment. Plus, electronics, taking care of live bait, more.
STEVE HUBER is a full-time, licensed fishing guide with operations in California, Oregon and Alaska. He started guiding on the American and Sacramento rivers in 1998. In
ZACK MEDINAS is new to the theater. A full-time captain, owner and operator of Gatecrasher Fishing Adventures, Zack worked as a deckhand for many years and was mentored by the late great, Rich Tipton of Lucky Strike Charters. Zack has served as a sportfishing consultant for the Department of Fish and Wildlife and UC Davis.
