Technology at Work Our outerwear utilizes our patented DriPore ™ technology, which can be found in eight different frogg toggs fabric technologies that are comprised of over 45 different product choices. DriPore is a microporous film with pores 20,000 times smaller than water droplets to help you remain dry yet allow the garment to breathe and keep you comfortable. This technology also provides excellent protection from the wind on that chilly morning run down the lake or cool evening ride. The Frogg Fold seam design, which is taped and stitched, offers increased seam strength and moisture protection without compromising the comfort or weight of the garment. In simple terms— our garments are built tough and designed to last.
Doing Our Part For the Environment In today’s world, it takes a conscientious and collaborative effort to protect the environment, and we’re pleased to have made advances at frogg toggs to do just that. Our Classic Suits are made of a nonwoven, high-grade plastic substrate that is completely recyclable. Unlike with PVC rainwear, recycling is as simple as placing your old frogg toggs suit in the recycling bin with your other plastics (just remove the buttons and zippers first). Moreover, we’re proud to make all of our suits, from start to finish, without the use of harmful chemicals that are commonly found in PVC rainwear, such as phthalates. The frogg toggs manufacturing process keeps these chemicals out of our products and out of the air to provide you a more environmentally sound purchase.
