The stainless steel gear train in our Fathom Lever Drag reels doesn’t get much tougher. Machined from stainless steel and drilled out for weight reduction, these gears offer the perfect combination of strength and speed.

Our Dura-Drag material contains a spe- cial Phenolic bonding agent that prevents premature breakdown of the carbon fiber material while providing a barrier to water. We then pretreat each drag washer with a special compound developed by PENN engineers.....say good by to jerky drags and lost fish.
