DAYTIME SWORDFISH AT EXTREME DEPTHS
There are a number of variations on rigs for catching Swordfish at extreme depths far beyond where any natural light can penetrate.
Basic rigs utilize light sticks or LED strobes to illuminate baits in what is essentially total darkness. Weights range from cement filled pipe to brick stacks—whatever it takes to overcome currents to reach the desired depth.
The MP3000 is the master of these depths. Its powerful motor lets you pull up and check baits—backbreaking work with manual winding. On hookup—switch over to manual and use the handle to fight 'em and bring 'em in the traditional way.
