Limited Lifetime Warranty

Cousins rods are hand-built to the highest quality standards in the industry and proudly guaranteed against any defect in material and workmanship to the original owner.

Each Cousins Tackle rod features a unique serial number that was assigned at the time it was built. In order to initiate your Cousins Tackle Limited Lifetime Warranty, you must register your purchase online or by telephone within 30 days of the purchase. If your rod does not have a serial number contact Customer Service .

Warranty claims and return merchandise authorization (RMA) can be submitted by contacting Cousins Tackle Service Department via email warranty@cousinstackle. com or by telephone at (714) 893-0423. In order to expedite your return, we recommend printing, completing and enclosing our rod warranty claim form. The Cousins Tackle receiving department will refuse any returns that are missing the return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package. Cousins Tackle dealers are not authorized to handle warranty claims.

Once a claim has been submitted and a RMA number provided, ship the complete rod in a disposable container with the RMA number on the outside of the package, along with a $25 check (to cover return shipping) directly to:

Cousins Tackle Corporation ATTN: Rod Warranty 5770 Research Drive Huntington Beach, CA 92649 RMA# 00000

Include the warranty claim form or a note with your name, address and telephone number, along with the nature of the problem. Be certain to insure your shipment, as Cousins Tackle cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged inbound freight.

Once received, Cousins Tackle will inspect the rod and determine if the issue is covered by warranty. If the rod is deemed by Cousins Tackle to be covered under warranty and we’re responsible for the product malfunction, we will gladly replace the rod at no additional charge.

The Cousins Tackle Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover rod failure due to misuse, negligence or normal wear and tear. Our service department will, if possible, refurbish or repair your rod at a nominal charge. It is at the sole discretion of Cousins Tackle whether to refurbish, repair or replace the rod. If Cousins chooses to refurbish or repair the rod, and the cost to do so exceeds 50% of current minimum advertised price (MAP), the customer will receive an identical or comparable rod at 50% of the current minimum advertised price (MAP).

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of rod(s) and does not cover consequential nor incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages so this limitation may not apply.

This warranty provides the consumer with specific legal rights, which vary from state to state.
