Quick Fire ® II
Spinning Quick Fire II is a system used for easy and fast one-handed casting. The line and triger self-center, and are within easy grasp of the angler’s index finger. By pulling the line and the trigger with one hand, the bail opens and is ready to be cast.
Quick Take Down
Round Baitcasting By loosening the thumb screws on the handle-side sideplate, the sideplate can easily be removed from the reel. This aids in quick maintenance, and allow adjustment on the VBS brake weights in the reel.
Rapid Fire Drag
Shimano’s “Rapid Fire Drag” allows anglers to quickly adjust drag to ideal setting during the fight. Featured on Sustain ® FG, Stradic ® CI4+, and Saros ® FA.
Rapid Fire Quick Change Drag Cam System
Conventional Allows anglers to change the drag cam on the reel within seconds. This system changes the drag curve on the reel to cater to specific techniques or fisheries. Reels equipped with the Rapid Fire system come standard with a Long Range Special (L.R.S.) curve and up to 7 other Rapid Fire cams are available as accessories.
