TECHNICAL FISHING SYSTEM
The top level: Fishing on the surface is simply explosive. Shimano expands its fishing Systems with ORCA, starting with the new Top-Water Orca Pencil Baits. The ORCA Top Water System works most effectively with high-speed reels such as Stella SW, Tranx HG, and Curado 300EJ filled with Power Pro’s new Zero Impact line with a short fluorocarbon leader. Match the Stella reel with a Terez 7’8” Popping rod for Spinning applications. On the Casting side the Tranx 500HG with the Terez extra fast 7’0” Extra Heavy for the larger sized Orca baits or the Curado 300EJ with a Terez extra fast 8’0” Medium Heavy or Heavy on the smaller baits. Orca comes in two new configurations this year adding a 140 sinking pencil and 145 size to go along with the current sizes of 160 and 190. These new ORCA baits are offered in 6 fish catching colors. They are aerodynamic for long, powerful casts, and with Shimano’s proprietary internal weight design to that will produce a fish catching erratic pop and diving action.
