The Sebile Squarebill Sunfish™ is exactly what the name implies, a flat-sided crankbait that has a body profile that of a sunfish, top prey for largemouth bass! Offered in one size and depth, the Squarebill Sunfish has a wide swim action. On a steady retrieve, the Squarebill Sunfish is ideal for fishing any shallow water condition, clear to murky waters. Cast the bait and retrieve until desired depth is reached allow- ing it’s “square” bill to do all the work. Another technique for this shallow bait is stop and go. As the bait is retrieved and contact made with structure, pause the bait for 3-5 seconds waiting for predatory fish targeting sunfish to strike. Power cranking this bait through submerged structure is another effective technique.
DESIGN I Shallow diving “square” bill combined with flat sided body gives this bait a wide action, emulating prey. The most snagless of all action first crankbaits due to the body and bill design!
