Wacky Hooks , available with or without a weed-guard, are the perfect hook for down-shottin’ and drop-shottin’ natural baits and soft plastics for suspended bass and panfish. The hook gap’s sharp-angle bend serves as a “saddle” that encourages a worm rigged at the middle to seek an “optimum” position for an enticing horizontal presentation, which makes this an ideal hook for “wacky wormin’.” Models with a Flex Nylon “weedless” guard are the choice for wormin’ in heavy cover. DoWN sHoT ™ oFFsET Hook , with its eye in a “down” position, is ideal for the down shot fishing system, as it’s engineered to ride perfectly horizontal when tied into a line that is to be fished straight upand down. Use a Palomar knot, but pull tag end of line up, over and through the hook’s eye one additional time before attaching sinker. Rig any kind of soft plastic bait and use as a deadly presentation for suspended game fish. Light wire, forged shank, and includes a 90° shoulder bend, Cutting Point ® and black chrome finish. SINKERS
1. Slip end of line through the eye of the sinker.
2. Pull line up so it pinches tight in the end of the eye.
Small and light weight, these bell-shaped sinkers are just right for use with the down shot system. The unique eye “pinches” on the end of the line — making the sinker quick to rig — and, should you hang up on the bottom (while hooked up to a fish or otherwise), the eye allows you to pull back and quick-release from the snagged sinker with ease. The two largest models have an internal swivel attached to the eye. (Pocket packs only)
